NEET 2019 – National Testing Agency (NTA)
is the conducting body of NEET 2019. The application form of NEET UG 2019 has
been made available on November 1, 2018 and candidates can check the link to
apply for the entrance exam below. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
(NEET) is the largest entrance examination for admissions to medical, dental,
and AYUSH courses in the country. NEET was introduced by the Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) in the year 2016, replacing AIPMT, as a National
entrance examination held yearly for admission to medical and dental courses of
the country.

- NEET application form 2019 has been made available on November 1, 2018 and can be filled till November 30, 2018.
- The timings of NEET entrance exam has been changed and it will now be conducted from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
- The exam cities for conduction of the entrance exam have been increased from 136 to 154.
- Students from open/private schools and those who had biology as an additional subject are allowed to appear for NEET 2019 but it is subject to the final verdicts of Supreme Court and High Courts where the special leave petition has been filed by MCI.
- For NEET 2019, NTA has provided a fee concession for transgender candidates. The NEET application fee for transgender candidates is INR 750.
- NTA has launched a new website for NEET - ntaneet.nic.in. The application form of NEET will be released here.
- Aadhar Card is not mandatory for NEET 2019 registration.
- NEET video lectures 2019 by IIT professors and subject experts are also made available by NTA for preparation.
- For the ease of candidates, NTA has provided the facility of NEET test practice centres.
- The conducting body of the exam is the National Testing Agency (NTA), instead of CBSE.
- The exam will be held once a year, and there will be no change in the exam pattern.
